A simple way to improve your blog is to have a real author for every post.
This can be supported through an author box, which includes…
- a short bio.
- an author photo.
- social media & other profile links. The author’s name should be a link to a page with a longer bio, showcasing their credentials, alongside their blog archives.
Google may assign reputation scores to not just pages but people, as implied in their Quality Rater guidelines, whenever possible. Clearly associating content with creators on your website may aid this process, though Google seems to be getting better at knowing who wrote which articles.
